“Can’t Really Blame Her”- Twitter Reacts As Lacey Evans Subtly Confirms WWE Release

Lacey Evans has subtly confirmed her exit from WWE. The former NXT Superstar had been a member of the main roster for a few years now, but her career went nowhere. She was involved in a RAW Women’s Championship storyline with Becky Lynch back in the year 2019.

After that, none of Lacey Evans’ feuds lived up to the full potential. She tried many new gimmicks on the main roster. However, none of them worked. It looks like WWE has given up on her now, as she wrote on her Instagram account today:

“When the clock strikes 12, you will address me as Macey Estrella from here on out…….oh, and this jacket is up for grabs. Be on the lookout.”

It is pertinent to note that Lacey has changed her Instagram handle to Limitless Macey as well. Also, her profile name on the social media platform now reads as Macey Estrella.

Fans have mixed reactions to Lacey Evans subtly hinting at her WWE exit

Lacey Evans wrestled her last WWE match on July 7, 2023. It was a dark match on SmackDown, where she lost against Zelina Vega. Speaking of her last match on TV, she wrestled against Charlotte Flair on June 23.

Charlotte beat Lacey via submission in that match. Her last victory came against a jobber named Camen Harress on a SmackDown episode of February 10, 2023. Lacey’s last PLE match was participating in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble match. She did not win that match.
