“You can’t be watching football till 3 AM”, Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo prevents players to watch the FIFA WC semi-final between Argentina and Croatia

The all-important FIFA World Cup 2022 tournament which is currently being played in Qatar has by far lived up to the expectations of the fans. The competition saw twists and turns, nail-biting moments including major upsets as well.

Top teams including Germany, Belgium, Spain, England, Brazil and Portugal were already eliminated from the competition and only four teams made it to the semi-finals of the competition.

They are none other than France, Morocco, Argentina, and Croatia. The semi-finals are going to be interesting and intriguing as the best team would advance to the finals of the competition.

Meanwhile, Argentina will lock horns with Croatia in the first semi-final, which is scheduled to be played at 00:30 AM IST. The majority of fans across the world would be rooting for Argentina because of Lionel Messi.

 Amid the ultimate craze and hype in the build-up to the semi-final between Argentina and Croatia, Bangladesh head coach Russell Domingo had his take on whether or not his players will be watching the FIFA WC 2022 semi-final.

He made it very clear that the players can’t be watching football till 3 AM in the morning and play the first Test match that starts at 9:30 AM (BST). Russell further added that he wouldn’t allow his players to watch the match.

It is cognizance of the fact that there is an immense craze for Lionel Messi in Bangladesh but sadly, the cricket player of the country will miss tonight’s semi-final.

Bangladesh will lock horns with Team India in the first of the two-match Test series on December 14 (Wednesday) which will be played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram.
