1) Chennai Super Kings
N Jagadeesan spent a long time at CSK but did not get enough opportunities. Even when he got chances, the wicketkeeper batter could not leave an impression. Nevertheless, the franchise could still go for the player.
After MS Dhoni, CSK needs a wicketkeeper. N Jagadeesan is a reliable cricketer and moreover, with him being from Tamil Nadu, the local fans would also be pleased. However, for Jagadeesan to have a long career with CSK, he has to do well in the middle order as the top order is packed.
2) Kolkata Knight Riders
KKR is one of the teams that can target N Jagadeesan in IPL 2023 Mini Auctions. The two-time champions are the only side without a genuine domestic wicketkeeper in the squad. They can also afford an opening slot for this player. Hence, they would be interested in Jagadeesan’s services.
