BBL 2022/23: Carrara Oval, Queensland Pitch Report And Weather Conditions

It is still the early stages of the BBL and in the next few weeks, we could see some drastic changes in the points table. BBL is happening at various venues and Carrara Oval will also get a chance to host this season. On that note, here, we look at the pitch report of Carrara Oval and the weather conditions in Queensland for BBL 2022/23.

All teams have played around four to five games and interestingly, each squad has lost at least one game already. This suggests the quality of competition on display. That said, Brisbane Heat and Sydney Thunder are two teams that must step up at the earliest. They are currently in the bottom half of the table and would need to start doing well at the earliest.

For Brisbane, they would need the likes of Sam Billings and Colin Munro to do well. This will be important for them in the next few weeks. Similarly, for Sydney, as well, overseas cricketers such as Alex Hales must do well and they would also want Jason Sangha to step up often.
