5 WWE Superstars Who Could Return At WrestleMania 39

With the biggest event in the world of professional wrestling just around the corner, the excitement is quite palpable. WrestleMania 39 is scheduled to take place at Sofi Stadium in California, where thousands of WWE fans will attend the two-night extravaganza.

The WrestleMania 2023 match card that has been revealed so far lacks the grandiose feel, as certain matchups appear to have been added randomly without any prior buildup. With still a couple of weeks left until the PLE, Triple H can elevate the quality of the show considering its current state.

The WWE Universe is always hungry for nostalgia, and nothing brings more excitement than seeing a returning superstar take center stage once again. Here are the five WWE superstars who could make a return at WrestleMania 39.

After all the hype, it’s hard to accept that The Rock won’t be headlining The Shows of Show this year. However, some fans still believe that Brahma Bull will be part of WrestleMania 39 to add more layers to the Bloodline saga.

Following the Undisputed championship match, the People’s champion could stage a thrilling comeback and challenge the Tribal Chief, laying the groundwork for a WrestleMania 40 showdown.

2. Randy Orton could return at WrestleMania 39

Randy Orton has been one of the most physically gifted athletes in WWE, but injury has taken a toll on him as he’s been away from the in-ring competition for a long time now. While he was recovering, rumors began to circulate that The Viper may not be able to return in time for WrestleMania.

This news left many fans disappointed, but recently, pictures of Randy Orton surfaced on the internet indicating that he is completely healthy. Hence, the Apex Predator could return as WWE will not miss the opportunity to feature a legendary superstar at The Grandest Stage of them all.

3. Naomi could return at WrestleMania 39

It’s been almost a year since Naomi’s infamous departure from WWE, and her comeback seems to be taking longer than anticipated. Interestingly, she didn’t follow Sasha Banks to NJPW, which implies that there may still be a chance for her to return to WWE.

If Naomi does indeed make a return at WrestleMania, she might be inserted into the championship picture. With so many talented wrestlers vying for the top spot, Naomi’s inclusion could further intensify the already thrilling scenario.

Reportedly, Austin turned down the offer to come out of retirement and participate in another match. Nevertheless, there is a possibility that he may emerge at WrestleMania in a different capacity, as hearing the sound of shattering glass in the arena is enough to pump the audience.

Stone Cold Steve Austin stole the show with his appearance on both nights of WrestleMania 38. Being a massive crowd puller, Triple H would not mind booking The Texas Rattle Snake for a second consecutive time.

5. Bo Dallas

The ongoing plotline involving Bray Wyatt and Uncle Howdy has stretched out for too long now, which raises the possibility that the person behind the mask might finally be revealed at WrestleMania to progress the story.

During the most recent SmackDown show, spectators noticed that Uncle Howdy’s voice closely resembled that of Bo Dallas, strengthening the belief that he is the mastermind behind the Uncle Howdy persona. Bray Wyatt is likely to lock horns with Bobby Lashley so we could see the unveiling during or after the match.
