WWE Clash at the Castle lived up to all the hype and excitement that surrounded the mega event in the numerous weeks of its buildup and road to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. A huge shocker came at the conclusion of the highly anticipated match featuring former WWE Tag Team Champions Edge and Rey Mysterio joining forces after a long time to take on the destructive duo of Finn Balor and Damien Priest flanked by Rhea Ripley, collectively known as The Judgment Day.
The combined veteran experience and chemistry of the two WWE Legends Edge and Mysterio sealed the victory over Balor and Priest who had been tormenting the duo in the weeks leading up to WWE Clash at the Castle.
However, this victory moment was short-lived as Rey’s son, Dominik Mysterio who was at ringside for the entire duration of the match shockingly turned on both Superstars, nailing Edge first with a low blow followed by a thunderous clothesline to his own father Rey Mysterio as the members of Judgement Day watched and laughed over Dominik’s betrayal.

With Mysterio jr. probably deciding to walk his path alone stepping out of his father’s shadow, here are 3 potential storylines for Dominik Mysterio moving forward:
1. Judgment Day welcomes Dominik
We saw the trio of Finn Balor, Damien Priest and Rhea Ripley’s display of happiness at the crumbling of The Mysterios. This could surely indicate that Dominik has lost all faith in Edge and Rey Mysterio after weeks of severe beatdowns by Judgment Day and pledging his allegiance to the faction becoming its new member in hopes of dominating WWE with Power.

The sight of Rey and Dominik Mysterio becoming the first-ever father-son duo to become WWE Tag Team Champions was awe-inspiring. Following the events of WWE Clash at the Castle, the WWE Universe could see both Mysterios engage in one of the most exciting and intriguing storylines of all time culminating in their first ever wrestling match in WWE pitting the father Rey Mysterio against his own son Dominik.
