South Africa – 2014 

South Africa was the first team in the history of the game to reach the No.1 Sport in All three formats at the same time in the ICC Ranking. India – 2023

Indian Cricket Team became the only second team and first Asian team to be number 1 at the same time in the ICC ranking in 2023 under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. They didn’t lose a single series since the T20 World Cup 2022 in the shortest format of the game, defeating New Zealand twice and Sri Lanka once. On the other hand, in ODIs, they are the powerhouse as they since the last year have been thumping teams both at home as well as overseas. They were ranked No.1 in this format for quite a while and have a rating of 114. They attained the No.1 rank in Tests after their thumping win over Australia in the first game of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. They defeated the Pat Cummins-led side by massive innings and 132 runs and displaced them to become the new No.1. They now sit at the top of the table with a rating of 115.
