Bangladesh and India are currently locking horns in the second Test in Dhaka. Ahead of the game, at the toss, skipper KL Rahul surprised many when he said that Kuldeep Yadav is not playing. The team management drafted Jaydev Unadkat in his place.

Kuldeep was the star performer for India in the first game as he played a staggering role with both bat as well as the ball and won Player of the Match. In what was his comeback match after nearly 2 years, he first scored 40 runs with the bat and help India post a big total.

After that, it was his sheer brilliance with the ball that was on the show. He took a five-wicket haul and made Bangladesh batters look clueless with his spin bowling. In the second innings also, he was the star with the ball as he took 8 wickets.

Kuldeep made the most of the opportunity that he got and it was almost certain that he will be there for the second Test as well. But he was yet again omitted for the team balance.
