The real test for England and Brendon McCullum
After the series of losses, England is now looking good under the new management. Under Brendon McCullum and Ben Stokes, the team has adopted an aggressive brand of cricket. This has helped them to defeat the defending World Test Championship winners New Zealand and then India in the one-off match.
England has succeeded in pulling off chases which they were not able to do a few months ago. However, the real test awaits them in the next cycle. In the next WTC cycle, they will travel to India, Pakistan, and New Zealand, all three of which would be challenging assignments.
