Disappointing Update On Ronda Rousey’s Return To WWE

Ronda Rousey is still not back to being 100% physically although she had even wrestled in pain at WrestleMania 39. Rousey took to her Instagram in March to confirm her fractured elbow injury. Rousey said that she dislocated her arm “thousands” of times over the years, and her elbow finally fractured because of slapping the mat at a WWE live event.

Ronda Rousey has been out of action since fracturing her elbow at a live event in February. Due to her injury, WWE has stopped her and her tag team partner Shayna Baszler’s push. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio, said that Rousey is still not ready to wrestle.

This means that Ronda and Shayna’s quest for tag team gold is on hold at the moment. His words, “Ronda Rousey is still not cleared, so they can’t do the Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler thing, which was the plan.” However, as a team they won their WrestleMania 39 women’s showcase tag team match against three other top teams.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler will challenge for WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships soon

Ronda’s partner Shayna Baszler recently sent out a warning to the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez became the tag team champions by beating Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch on RAW. Baszler tweeted “If you are #1 who cares if #2 steps out in front of #3?” while tweeting a picture of the new champs last week.

This means her pursuit for the tag team titles still stays alive. Before her injury, Rousey was calling out wrestlers like Natalya and quarreling with Bayley on twitter as well. She was also belittling Damage CTRL, who were the tag team champions at the time.

Rousey has tasted singles gold earlier but is yet to win tag team gold yet. Baszler has captured the tag team titles twice with Nia Jax in the past.
