Cristiano Ronaldo Could Make His 1st WWE Appearance At Upcoming Show – Reports

Cristiano Ronaldo, known for his incredible football talent and incredible goal-scoring abilities, may soon enter the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) arena. While the specifics of his attendance are yet unknown, it has been said that WWE is eagerly hoping to have the Portuguese football superstar participate at their Crown Jewel show on November 4 in Saudi Arabia.

Reports suggest that WWE is keen to have the former Manchester United footballer participate as a superstar guest in this highly anticipated wrestling extravaganza. Ronaldo’s potential appearance at Crown Jewel could be a strategic move to boost the event’s excitement and revenue, with UFC owners, Endeavor, showing a keen interest in this endeavor. To secure Ronaldo’s presence, a substantial appearance fee is expected to be negotiated.

Notably, Cristiano Ronaldo would not be the first professional footballer to grace a WWE show. Former Norwich player Grant Holt, German goalkeeper Tim Wiese, and former Wycombe Wanderers forward Adebayo Akinfenwa have all made appearances in WWE shows in the past. Ronaldo’s former Manchester United teammate and ex-England international Wayne Rooney also ventured into the WWE world in 2015.

Rooney’s presence in the front row at the November 9 episode of Monday Night RAW in Manchester led to a heated exchange with former WWE wrestler Wade Barrett, culminating in a memorable moment when Rooney slapped Barrett.

WWE Superstar Apollo Crews talked about Cristiano Ronaldo

WWE wrestler Apollo Crews shared his thoughts on Ronaldo’s potential appearance, acknowledging the unusual circumstances of a player of Ronaldo’s caliber stepping into the wrestling ring. Crews expressed doubt about any career revival for Ronaldo at the age of 37 or 38 but emphasized the importance of Ronaldo enjoying the experience.

Currently, Cristiano Ronaldo plies his trade in Saudi Arabia, having left Manchester United last season to join Al Nassr, a Riyadh-based football club. He has made a significant impact on the Saudi football scene, netting 27 goals in 31 matches for the club. Last month, Ronaldo’s remarkable talent guided Al Nassr to their first-ever Arab Club Champions Cup title, further solidifying his legacy in the sport.
