IPL 2022 has proven to be the platform that Hardik Pandya was so desperately seeking for in the past few months. Even though there is a significant change in his batting position and he has also changed the way he usually bats. He takes a much more calculated stance these days and presses the gear just when it is needed.
On top of that, this is a welcome sight to all the Indian fans as the T20 World Cup looms closer than ever. Last night, Pandya played a crucial role that saw the Gujarat Titans racing past Rajasthan Royals in a battle for the throne.
This is what Rashid Khan had to say about Hardik Pandya
Former Afghanistan captain and current Gujarat Titans spinner, Rashid Khan didn’t leave a single stone unturned to heap accolades on the Titans captain as the all-rounder came up to the second position of the Orange Cap chase with 228 runs from five games and has also claimed 4 important wickets already.
It has been an exemplifying spectacle of how Hardik Pandya rallied his forces and has brought out the best in a handful of young players making the Titans a force to reckon with. Under his spectacular leadership, the Titans have secured 4 wins from 5 games and are perched at the top of the points table with 8 points so far.
Rashid Khan was clear about the fact that the ambiance in the camp under Hardik Pandya has been absolutely electric and the players and the management have dovetailed into a single-family. There have been a lot of laughs and cheers in the dressing room of the Titans and it has been a sheer delight to watch the Titans perform in the ongoing edition of the tournament.
Rashid was heard quoting at the press match conference, “The way he (Hardik) has led the team, the way he has kept the team environment, inside and outside the field has been amazing so far. He (Hardik) is someone who always takes that brave decision, always has confidence and he is someone who is very clear in mind on what he is going to do.”
He concluded by saying, “This is an important thing as a captain when your mind is clear, and you take right decisions, the result will take (care) by itself. You take right decisions with confidence, that is something which makes him the best and he has been delivering the best so far and leading from the front – (be it) batting, bowling and fielding.”
