Whom Will Roman Reigns Face At WWE Survivor Series 2022?

A huge new match is currently in the making for Survivor Series 2022, the last Big pay per view of the year. And WWE management has decided on a fresh new opponent to face Roman Reigns.

It’s going to be the returning Karrion Kross who will finally take on the Tribal Chief by year’s end. Kross has returned, after being released during WWE’s mass culling, two weeks ago on SmackDown and has immediately put Reigns on notice by attacking Drew McIntyre and challenging the champ via the hour glass being placed on the ring by his wife Scarlett, in his signature style. There is however no plan for Kross to be involved in the Clash at the Castle, where Reigns is facing McIntyre for the universal titles.

Will Roman Reigns wrestle on WWE Extreme Rules 2022?

The next big event after Clash is Extreme Rules but Reigns isn’t booked on it yet and reports are coming in from trusted sources that Kross vs Reigns is reserved for the final of the top four big events of the year i.e. Survivor Series.

”Reigns is not booked on Extreme Rules in Philadelphia at this point. If they go with Reigns vs. Kross, as things stand right now, it would either be TV or the earliest would be Survivor Series barring the weekly circumstances involved in wrestling,” said Wrestling expert Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

As for Kross, he is being pushed to the moon as he is now seen as the second biggest heel on SmackDown after Reigns. Therefore, they need to make this mega heel vs heel title match at an equally apt pay per view.

Also since he has attacked McIntyre brutally, there needs to be a match between the two which could happen at a SmackDown house show in the coming weeks or at Extreme Rules.

Also it’s being predicted that the Head of the table may not even be the Undisputed champion by September 3rd as the USA network wants a world champion on RAW too which is their show. Also Clash being McIntyre’s home ground, there is a strong possibility the titles might be split with the Scottish warrior holding one of the belts.

Only time will tell… Tick Tock
