Former Indian captain Virat Kohli is currently part of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy series against the Australian national cricket team. India’s run-scoring machine who has hit peak form in ODIs and T20Is is yet to make a statement in Test cricket.
It’s been over three years since he scored his Test century. His last Test ton came against the Bangladesh cricket team during a day-night pink-ball affair in 2019. Since then, Kohli clearly struggled to come up with a triple-digit score in the longest format of the game.
Although he played some impactful knocks for the team in Test cricket, he came under fire for his inability to score a century in Test cricket in the last three years. However, he has a great chance to end his Test century drought in the fourth and final Test against Australia.
The fourth Test between Team India and the Australian cricket team will be held on March 9 (Thursday) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It will be quite interesting to see how Virat Kohli goes about his work in the final Test match.
