Twitter reacts as John Cena posts “you can’t see me” picture featuring MS Dhoni

"You can't see me" is the famous WWE catchphrase of John Cena

The WWE superstar John Cena uploaded a picture of the former Indian captain MS Dhoni on his Instagram account yesterday, which has got a lot of traction in India. Cena didn’t even put a caption on the picture, but everyone knew what he actually meant by the picture.

The picture has been captured from a video after India’s T20 World Cup game against Namibia where Dhoni is coming down the stairs to shake hands with the current Indian captain Virat Kohli. While he was some distance away from Kohli, he moved his hand forward and that’s where the screenshot has been grabbed. At that point, there is nobody in the frame apart from Dhoni himself, and it seems as if Dhoni is about to shake hands with an invisible person.

That picture is perfect for the famous WWE move of John Cena, where he makes a “you can’t see me” gesture before landing the final knockout blow on his opponent. From that picture of Dhoni, it seems as if the other person can’t be seen and the Twitter users chuckled at it saying it’s probably Cena himself who is the other person in the picture and nobody can see him.

MS Dhoni’s picture has become one of the most liked posts on the Instagram account of John Cena

It’s not been a long time since Cena posted that picture on Instagram and it has already got more than a million likes, which shows the kind of popularity Dhoni has in India. It’s one of the most liked pictures ever on Cena’s Instagram account.

John Cena is not a regular WWE wrestler anymore as he spends a fair bit of time working as an actor in the Hollywood movies, but he recently made his way back to the ring for the “money in the bank” game this year. Dhoni also took the cricket field after a while this year when he turned up for the second leg of the IPL and captained Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to another trophy.

I write a bit on cricket and I am more interested in technical and tactical side of the game, rather than bravado.
