Twitter Reacts After Virat Kohli’s 100th Test Gets Moved From Bengaluru To Mohali

BCCI has announced the change in schedule for the Sri Lanka assignment at home. As per the latest schedule, Virat Kohli is all set to play his 100th Test in Mohali. In the earlier plan, Virat was supposed to play his landmark game at Bengaluru. Considering the Chinnaswamy Stadium is his adopted ground, many were excited to see Virat in action at the venue. However, now, Bengaluru will instead host the Day-Night Test in the series. In this article, we take a look at how Twitter reacted after Virat Kohli’s 100th Test gets moved from Bengaluru to Mohali.

Virat Kohli’s 100th Test to be played at Mohali

A few years ago, AB de Villiers played his 100th Test in Bengaluru. It is common to witness popular players feature in their landmark encounters at venues close to them. In line with this, Virat Kohli had to play his 100th five-day encounter in Bengaluru. As we all know, although he is based out of Delhi, VK has a huge following in Bengaluru. This is because he has been a part of the Bengaluru-based IPL outfit Royal Challengers Bangalore from the inception of the competition.

Now, Virat will not get to play his 100th game at the venue. Instead, the location for the much-awaited match will be Mohali. That said, Virat will return to Bengaluru for his 101st encounter, which will be a day-night affair.
