2 Teams which might win their 100th match in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL)

Four teams have got 100 or more victories to their name in the IPL so far

Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders are the only 4 teams which have won 100 or more than 100 games in the history of the Indian Premier League, with Mumbai Indians having secured the highest number of victories, that is 127.

While Mumbai, CSK and KKR are the multiple-time trophy holders, RCB is also one of the teams which have made it to the IPL playoffs multiple times. RCB has even been in the final twice, but they have never been able to win the trophy. Going ahead in the next season of the Indian Premier League, two more teams might join the 100 clubs as far as the no. of victories is concerned.

Here are the two teams which might win their 100th match in the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League –

Delhi Capitals (earlier, Delhi Daredevils)

Delhi Capitals have played a total of 210 games in the Indian Premier League so far and have managed to win 96, which clearly suggests that their overall performance in the league over the years has been below par, as their win percentage is less than 50.

Delhi Capitals have had great bunch of players from time to time since the inception of the IPL, but they have struggled for consistency. However, in the last three seasons, they are starting to get lot more consistent, as they have qualified for the playoffs three times back to back now. They are expected to complete their tally of 100 victories in the upcoming IPL season.

Punjab Kings (Kings XI Punjab)

Punjab Kings are another team whose journey in the Indian Premier League has been similar to Delhi Capitals, as they have also been up and down in terms of their performance and although they have strong teams on paper a few times in the past, they have failed to win the IPL title so far.

Punjab Kings have won just 94 games out of the 204 that they have played in the IPL in the last 14 years. However, with a new captain and a fairly new-looking squad this season, they are expected to perform much better and get to the tally of 100 wins.
