5 All-Rounders earning more than Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya is one of the best all-rounders in the Indian Premier League at the moment. He brings his flexible batting skills, medium-pace bowling, good fielding, and competitive body language to the table for Mumbai Indians every time he takes the field. But despite being one of the best all-rounders in this competition, he still isn’t the most expensive boy around. There are five more all-rounders who are earning more than Hardik Pandya in IPL 2021. Who are they? Read below to find out.

These are the five all-rounders who are earning more than Hardik Pandya in IPL 2021. These are also the five most expensive all-rounders in the tournament overall:

#1 Chris Morris – 16.25 Cr:

The South African all-rounder became the most expensive player to be bought in an IPL auction ever at the 2021 mini-auction. Rajasthan Royals bought Morris for a whopping amount of ₹16.25 crores. With this amount, Morris has surpassed almost all of the expensive players in this league, including Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Rohit Sharma.

Chris Morris is now the second most expensive player in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. He is also the most expensive all-rounder. Only his former RCB skipper Virat Kohli sits ahead of him in terms of salary. That puts him way ahead of Hardik Pandya in terms of earnings in IPL 2021.

#2 Pat Cummins – 15.5 Crores:

Pat Cummins recently showed why he deserves all that money against Chennai Super King. He is the second most expensive all-rounder in the Indian Premier League at the moment. Apart from that, Cummins is also the third most expensive player in the IPL 2021 overall, surpassing MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Rishabh Pant.

Cummins was the most expensive buy at the auction held ahead of IPL 2020. He went to Kolkata Knight Riders for ₹15.5 Crores and was retained at the same price ahead of IPL 2021. This amount made him a far more expensive player than Mumbai Indian’s Hardik Pandya, who was retained for ₹11 Crores.

#3 Kyle Jamieson – 15 Crores:

Kyle Jamieson‘s all-round abilities caught the eyes of Royal Challengers Bangalore‘s management staff, who paid ₹15 Crores for his services in IPL 2021. Jamieson may have got this whopping amount due to bidding wars caused by the high demand for overseas players. But, we must embrace the fact that he surpassed Hardik Pandya and a few others in the process. He is now the third most expensive all-rounder in the IPL 2021 and the sixth most expensive player overall.

#4 Glenn Maxwell – 14.25 cr:

Despite having so many bad seasons with the bat, Glenn Maxwell still manages to get large sums of money for his services in each auction. The price only keeps increasing for the Big Show as he again got a massive amount of ₹14.25 Crore for his services at Royal Challengers Bangalore in this year’s IPL auction. With this whopping sum, he too surpassed Hardik Pandya to become the fourth most expensive all-rounder in the Indian Premier League at the moment.

#5 Sunil Narine – 12.5 cr:

Sunil Narine is the last player among the five all-rounders who are earning more than Hardik Pandya in IPL 2021. Narine is the fifth most expensive all-rounder in IPL2021. KKR has been enjoying his services for quite some time now as he is a top-class bowler in T20 and can also score some runs when needed. He was retained by Kolkata Knight Riders for ₹12.5 Crores ahead of IPL 2021, which surpassed Hardik’s ₹11 Crores making Narine more expensive than him.
