Fans on Twitter react as India losses seven quick wickets in the third Test against Australia on a turning-Indore pitch. They lashed out at the BCCI for preparing such kind of pitch and said that they need to drop all the batters on this surface and not just KL Rahul.

The third Test between India and Australia is currently taking place in Indore. Hosts skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first. But things haven’t gone the way they would’ve liked as batters have struggled to get going on the pitch, which turned from the first ball.

Skipper Rohit Sharma (12) was the first one who perished and after that, it has been just the festival of wickets. Indian batters have struggled to get going against the spin and lost half of their side for just 45 runs. Shubham Gill played solid shots and scored 21 runs but he too was outfoxed by the spin. Matthew Kuhnemann has picked three wickets whereas Nathan Lyon bagged three quick wickets as well along with Toddy Murphy, who rhas wicket to his name so far.

Cheteshwar Pujara (1), Shreyas Iyer (0) and Ravindra Jadeja (4) looked clueless and lost their wickets. The onus was on Virat Kohli to bail his side out of trouble, He batted well on the surface, which has 4.8 degrees of turn. The batter look good but managed only 22 runs as he was trapped in LBW by Todd Murphy as India saw themselves tumbling at 70/6.  KS Bharat supported him well but he too perished after scoring 17 runs. The onus is now on Axar Patel, R Ashwin and others to bail his side out of trouble and post a good total on the board.
