Deepak Chahar recently got married to his girlfriend Jaya Bharadwaj. The all-rounder took a break from cricket because of his injuries. He got injured while playing for the Indian cricket team in the home season earlier this year. Many fans expected him to be back in April, but he picked up a back injury during his recovery.
As a result, Chahar got ruled out of the entire IPL 2022 season. He did not play a single match for the Chennai Super Kings, who paid 14 crore for his services at the mega auction. The all-rounder will remain out of action for a few more weeks. He is likely to be fit for the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.
Chahar recently got married, and he will soon go for a honeymoon with his wife. His sister Malti Chahar sent him the following message ahead of his honeymoon:
“Ab ladki hui humari….Wish you guys a very happy married life
@deepak_chahar9 please take care of your back during your honeymoon..we have World Cup ahead.”

Deepak Chahar might return to action in the home T20I series against the Australian cricket team
The Indian cricket team will play many bilateral T20I series ahead of the ICC T20 World Cup. The Men in Blue are scheduled to play against South Africa, Ireland, England, West Indies and Australia. Chahar will have to prove himself on the field before getting a place in the T20 World Cup squad.
He will aim to recover to full fitness by Asia Cup or the home series against the Australian cricket team because the selectors may not risk playing him directly in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The series against the South African cricket team will commence this Thursday in Delhi at 7 PM IST.
