Star Sports Posted A Lovely Tweet To Summarize Rohit Sharma’s Legacy In T20I Cricket

Rohit Sharma made history last night in Dharamsala when he played his 125th T20 international match for the Indian cricket team. The star player, who made his debut back in the year 2007, is currently the captain of the Indian cricket team in all three formats of the game.

Popularly known as the Hitman, Rohit Sharma donned the Indian team’s jersey for the 125th time yesterday at the HPCA Stadium and overtook former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik on the list of players with the most number of T20I appearances.

Malik has played 124 T20I matches for the Pakistan cricket team so far, whereas Sharma has played one more and given how well he has done in this format, it should not be a surprise if he becomes the first player to play 150 T20I matches soon.
