The Chennai Super Kings suffered their fourth straight defeat in IPL 2022, as they lost to the Sunrisers Hyderabad. It was yet another huge loss after another lacklustre performance once again by the reigning champions. This IPL has not been kind to the current holders and they have not looked good since the opening day of the tournament when they lost to KKR. MS Dhoni let go of his captaincy at the start of the tournament and since then Ravindra Jadeja was given charge of the team. This was to appoint a skipper, who would lead the side in the long run. However, the idea has flopped so far and team has not responded to his leadership.

The eight-wicket loss meant that CSK have their worst start to an IPL session, and it isn’t getting any better. The team does not look like they have it in them to win games and the pressure seems to be too much for skipper Ravindra Jadeja.
