RCB Women’s Team have not had a great outing
Before the season started, many expected RCB to have a good season. They had a strong core comprising the likes of Smriti Mandhana, Richa Ghosh, Elysse Perry and Renuka Singh Thakur amongst others. However, the team is yet to win a game this season.
One of the major issues is that the big names have not stepped up. Smriti Mandhana and Renuka Thakur have both had under-par seasons and this affected the campaign of the franchise. Richa Ghosh has had only one good game so far while the spinners of the squad have been poor. Elysse Perry has done her bit while Sophie Devine has also left a good impact. Megan Schutt has performed to an extent but has not picked wickets as per reputation. The team might need a miracle to progress forward in the tournament.

Meanwhile, in the game against UP Warriorz, RCB had a great start. They picked three quick wickets, including the one of Alyssa Healy. Heather Knight was speaking to the commentators from the field and she said, “We had a chat with Virat Kohli earlier today. He motivated all of us”.
