USA cricketer Unmukt Chand gets married to long time girlfriend, shares pictures on twitter

Unmukt Chand has recently moved to USA to explore his opportunities in international cricket

The USA cricketer Unmukt Chand, who started his cricketing career playing for Delhi and the U19 team of India, got married yesterday to his long time partner Simran Khosla.

Unmukt shared the news with his fans by uploading pictures of his marriage on social media. The 28-year old also used a catchy hashtag “SimRANtoChand” with a part of the first name of his partner and his own surname.

Unmukt, when he first burst onto the scene in 2012 and won the U19 World Cup, was regarded as one of the finest talents in India and the pundits were of the opinion that it was only a matter of time before the mighty talented youngster would represent the senior team of the country.

But, it couldn’t quite become a reality as Unmukt couldn’t translate his U19 success to domestic success, which would have been his pathway to senior-level international cricket. However, he now has the opportunity to make a career for himself at the international level, although playing for the USA.

Unmukt, at this stage, is involved in the minor league cricket of the USA which is the domestic pathway to the USA’s senior international team. The right-handed opener is likely to be eligible to play for the USA soon.

Unmukt Chand will head to Australia after his marriage to play in the Big Bash League (BBL)

As far as Unmukt’s wife Simran Khosla is concerned, she is an entrepreneur by herself and runs an organization named “buttlikeanapricot”. She is believed to be involved with nutrition and training, and she was reportedly dating Unmukt for three years before the couple decided to marry.

There were no rumors of Unmukt’s relationship or marriage until very recently, and it was only after the cricketer himself broke the news that his fans got to know it.

I write a bit on cricket and I am more interested in technical and tactical side of the game, rather than bravado.
