3 popular Indian players who might not play in the next IPL season

Every IPL season marks the end of a few careers. A few players might find themselves out of contract the next season. The reason could be retirement or poor form. In IPL 2023, as well, we are seeing a few players who are not up to the mark. On that note, here, we take a look at three popular Indian players who might not play in the next IPL season due to poor form.

1) Manish Pandey

In the absence of Rishabh Pant, Manish Pandey actually started IPL 2023 on a good note. However, he has been poor since then.

Manish has just not been able to up the ante and he has also lost wickets at crucial moments. With all of this combined, it might be difficult for any other team to bid for the player for the next season.

2) Jaydev Unadkat

Jaydev Unadkat is one of the popular Indian players who might not play in the next IPL season due to poor form. He has had an injury issue this season but when he did get chances, he could not do well.

In the powerplay, a player Unadkat should be able to pick wickets. He has failed to do that and has also not been excellent in the death overs. With so many options available in the circuit right now, Unadkat may not get a deal for IPL 2024.

3) Ambati Rayudu

Last season itself, Rayudu seemed to have made up his mind to retire. Yes, he did take it back but this season is not going well for him. Coming in as the Impact Player, Rayudu has mostly been involved in short cameos or single-digit scores.

Considering his age and his suitability for the other squads, Rayudu will find it difficult to get a buyer. Moreover, there is also a chance that he himself could retire from the game.
