Former Australian Wicket-Keeper Adam Gilchrist expressed that Virat Kohli’s reaction was “brewing”. He added that the anger had got to the breaking point, which led to Virat Kohli’s “premeditated” reaction.

“That accusation about filming teams shining the ball, I am assuming it goes back to when the Australians were caught out on camera,” said Gilly.

Warne backed Virat Kohli’s reaction and said, sometimes the emotions do ‘overflow’. Although, Warne was bewildered that such a reaction had come from Kohli. However, Warne justified that Kohli’s reaction could have been the result of all controversial decisions against the Indian team throughout the whole test series.
