The year 2020 proved to be a shocking one for the Indian Cricket fraternity. The sudden retirement of MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina saddened the atmosphere as the world didn’t expect it so soon. The duo of Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni holds the perfect example of authentic friendship.

Both of them retired from International cricket on the same day. Now both will retire from IPL on the same day too. Raina stated that he would also retire if Mahi doesn’t play IPL next year.

The retirement trend is still continuously going in the year 2021 also. Even though big names have not announced retirement, other cricketers have made an excellent Cricketing career.

Vinay Kumar, Ashok Dinda, Naman Ojha, Yusuf Pathan are some of the Indian stars who bid adieu this year. However, one more name has been added to this list. The Indian pacer Pankaj Singh has also announced his retirement.

He made his Test debut for India against England on 27 July 2014. The only ODI which he played for India was in the year 2010 against Sri Lanka.
