He has had a history of injuries with his knee and also wears a harness to keep it safe. Owens had hurt his knee last November as well and had an MCL sprain on it. He went on a hiatus for few weeks after that. The Prizefighter had a meniscectomy on his knee this year to repair it.

What’s next for Kevin Owens in WWE?

Owens and Zayn captured the tag team titles from The Usos at WrestleMania 39. The duo even warded off The Usos in the WrestleMania main event match of Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes. Rhodes lost the match after an interference by Solo Sikoa.

Cody is now feuding with Brock Lesnar now but KO and Zayn are still fighting The Usos every week. Matt Riddle has joined the Undisputed Tag Team Champions in their rivalry. These three will face The Usos and Solo Sikoa at Backlash next month. Apart from the recent title match, The Usos will have another opportunity to reclaim the titles on next week’s SmackDown.
