“Should have tried him today as well”, Twitter reacts as Virat Kohli was the last Indian player to take a wicket in the Men’s T20 World Cup Semi-final

Team India literally ran out of tricks and ideas to outsmart the England cricket team in the second semi-final at Adelaide Oval in Adelaide. Rohit Sharma and Co did manage to put up a competitive total on the board.

However, as far as the bowling department is concerned, they lost the plot and ended up surrendering at the hands of the England cricket team who always looked dangerous throughout the run-chase.

The Three Lions grew from strength to strength in the run-chase as they chased down the target with 24 balls to spare. It was a humiliating defeat for India in this T20 World Cup and to get knocked out like that is very shocking.

Virat Kohli was the last Indian player to take a wicket in the ICC T20 World Cup semi-final

Former Indian captain Virat Kohli finished the tournament with 296 runs in six games that he played for India in the showpiece event in Australia. He ended up as the leading run-scorer of this event but sadly his team failed to crack the code in the semis.

Team India failed to take a single wicket in the semi-final against England in T20 World Cup 2022. Virat Kohli was the last Indian player to bag a wicket in the ICC T20 World Cup semi-final, which is quite a surprising stat.
