India vs Australia: “Can you find why Rohit keeps bowling Bhuvi at death?”, Twitter furious as Bhuvneswar Kumar costs India the series opener

India vs Australia: In a shocking development the T20 World Champions, Australia surged past India in a high-scoring encounter, registering their highest ever run-chase against the Men in Blue despite a searing display from the hosts with the willow in their hands.

On a flat track at Mohali, Finch won the toss and put India to bat. Despite the early fall of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, KL Rahul set the tone perfectly for Team India while Suryakumar Yadav brought out the heavy artillery.

Here is what Twitter had to say about India vs Australia

Hardik Pandya played another special knock towards the latter half of the innings that saw a perfect cap-off after he finished the innings with three maximums leaving the Roos in absolute shambles. It was also a collective display from the other batters who chipped in with perfect cameos to help India pile up 208 on the cards.

Chasing a momentous 209, Australia was off to an absolute flyer as Aaron Finch and Cameron Green went bang bang from ball one. The opening pair set up the game perfectly for Australia followed by another on-cue partnership between Cameron Green and Steven Smith.

However, Team India made a solid comeback in the middle as Umesh yadav’s double whammy to remove Smuth and Maxwell, laced with a triple strike from Axar Patel brought back India strongly into the contest.

Teetering at 145 for 5, Tim David and Matthew Wade took over the reins of the contest and with the equation being heavily tilted towards the Men in Blue, the Aussies flipped the tide around in their sails through a swashbuckling Wade.

Twitter wasn’t happy with the way things proceeded as India will have a mile to walk ahead of the following encounter.
