India and Bangladesh will be involved in a three-match ODI series from December 4th. The first two games of this series will happen in Dhaka. On that note, here, we look at the pitch report of Shere Bangla National Stadium and the weather conditions in Rawalpindi for IND vs BAN 2022.
For India, this series will mark the return of seniors such as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul back to the Indian Team. Considering the 2023 ODI World Cup, it will be important that the seniors will hit form as soon as possible.
For Bangladesh, though, it will be about building confidence ahead of the big event. They were decent in the 2022 T20 World Cup and will look to leave an impact in the 2023 ODI World Cup in India.

It was in 2006 that this venue, also known as the Mirpur Stadium, hosted its first ODI encounter. Since then, a total of 113 games have happened here. Bangladesh has played the majority of its home games at this venue.
It is a paradise for the spinners like the other stadiums in this part of the world. 226 is the average score batting first while close to 5 runs are scored on an average every over on this track. After the 2011 World Cup, Shane Watson scored 185* against Bangladesh here. This, still, happens to be the best individual batting display at Mirpur, so far.

There will not be a big surprise when it comes to the weather. Both on Sunday and Wednesday, the weather is predicted to be sunny, with the maximum temperature in the day likely to be around 28 degrees Celsius.
In recent months, rain has been a major problem in the Indian matches. However, this time around, fans can be assured of a full series.
