ICC World Test Championship 2021-23: Full Schedule of Team England

After a disappointing outing in the opening edition of the ICC World Test Championship, England will be eyeing a turnaround in the following season of the fray. Being outplayed by the likes of India and New Zealand, they will have to conjure hellacious vim and vigour if they are hoping for a turnaround.

England finished in the fourth spot of the tournament in the preceding edition after winning four series from the six that they played. It all began for the Englishmen with the prestigious Ashes. Despite going down in the series, they came up with a rippling victory n the finale to level the fray.

They staged another extraordinary watershed against South Africa in the latter’s backyard after going down in the opening Test of the series. This triumph was followed by another clinical performance against Pakistan which saw them winning the series by 1-0, thanks to a victory in the first Test.

The Three Lions showed no signs of relent, thanks to another scintillating showdown against the Sri Lankans in the latter’s den. In the clash of lions, England thumped Sri Lanka, imposing a clean sweep.

Things took an unfortunate turn for the English army after they suffered a mortifying shellacking at the hands of India away from home. They were clinical in the opening Test match but couldn’t live up to the billing in the remaining Test matches.
