Arjun Tendulkar smashes a century on his debut for Goa in Ranji Trophy

Son of batting great Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun Tendulkar a few months ago left Mumbai due to a lack of opportunities and joined the Goa team. The all-rounder played just a few T20s for his previous state and was yet to make his Ranji debut before he joined his new team.

However, he got opportunities in almost every game for Goa and is also making his Ranji Trophy debut for the side in the ongoing match against Rajasthan. Arjun made sure that he make the most of his maiden innings as he went on to make a staggering century.

Arjun came to bat when Goa lost 5 wickets for just 201 runs. But after that, it was all about his heroics as he wonderfully crafted his innings and paved his way to a half-century. He made sure that he covert his start into the big knock as he then went on to score a century.

Arjun’s century helped Goa go past 400 runs, which at one moment seemed difficult.  He smashed 15 fours and 2 sixes and is going strong at the moment. The southpaw would want to score a big ton and etch his name in the record books. Notably, his father Sachin Tendulkar also scored a century on his Ranji Trophy debut.
