Santner was a part of the CSK squad for 4 years between 2018 and 2021 and although he didn’t get a lot of opportunities to play for CSK, he has been a regular feature in the New Zealand XI in the recent years. The southpaw has featured in both the ODI World Cup and T20 World Cup final in the last 3 years.
Santner, as expected, was not one of the players who were retained by CSK before the mega auction, but CSK might be interested to buy him again as a back up option for Ravindra Jadeja.
