As of now, the exact location for the big event has not been revealed, but as per reports, Bengaluru will host the auction.

How many players can teams retain before IPL 2022?

The eight existing franchises can retain a maximum of four players each. All eight teams have declared their respective lists of players retained and released ahead of the mega auction. Big names like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant and Rohit Sharma have been retained, while some other stars like KL Rahul, Rashid Khan, David Warner and Suresh Raina have been released.
