The ICC ODI World Cup is around the corner. The event will take place in India in October and November. If Rishabh Pant gets ruled out of it, it’ll be a big miss for India. In this piece, we will take a look at 2 Players who could replace Rishabh Pant if he is ruled out of the 2023 World Cup

 1. Sanju Samson

Sanju Samson will be the perfect replacement for Rishabh Pant in the Indian side for the ODI World Cup. The batter has been the part of T20I setup but hasn’t been able to make the cut into the ODI side. He has been going through the fine form and also can keep wickets. Samson has performed reasonably well for India whenever he got the opportunity and therefore he can be the ideal choice. Also, his ability to bat at any position could come in handy for the team. In the 11 games so far, he has scored 330 runs at an average of 66 to go with 2 fifties.

 2. Rajat Patidar

Rajat Patidar is another player who can replace Rishabh Pant in the Indian side if he gets ruled out of the World Cup. Patidar has been under the radar of the BCCI as they have termed him as a future prospect. He has been travelling with the team for a while now and is also among the best performers in the domestic circuit. He is yet to make his debut for India but if the team wants to get him for the World Cup, he’ll soon make his debut.
