2. Not dismissed in most consecutive innings in World Cup matches

Lance Klusener was not dismissed in five consecutive innings in World Cup matches, a record that still remains intact. It is one of the records that might not be broken in the future. It is worth mentioning that he remained unbeaten on five consecutive innings wherein he aggregated 214 runs during the 1999 World Cup.

Nonetheless, his streak was eventually ended by Gavin Larsen in the Super Six stage match against the New Zealand cricket team when the all-rounder was dismissed for the first time in the tournament after scoring only 4 runs.
