WWE
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has undergone a fascinating evolution since its inception in 1953 as the Capitol Wrestling Corporation (CWC), a Northeastern territory of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Over the years, the promotion went through various transformations, leaving the NWA in the 1960s to become the World Wide Wrestling Federation (WWWF) and later rebranding as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1979.

As of September 2023, WWE’s majority owner is TKO Group Holdings, a subsidiary of Endeavor Group Holdings. McMahon returned as executive chairman after a deal with Endeavor Group Holdings, forming TKO Group Holdings through a merger with Zuffa, the parent company of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
Global Presence and Entertainment Ventures:
WWE has not only conquered the wrestling world but has also ventured into various entertainment fields, including film, football, and diverse business endeavors. With offices in New York, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Mumbai, Shanghai, Singapore, Dubai, and Munich, the company’s worldwide headquarters are located in Stamford, Connecticut.
