Austin Theory one of the biggest future prospects in WWE currently. He holds the Money in the Bank briefcase, and is featured regularly. Although he is a major part of WWE programming, he doesn’t enjoy a dominant push. Theory loses a lot, and doesn’t steamroll his opponents.

On the other hand, Roman Reigns is one of the most dominant champions of all time. The ‘Tribal Chief’ has remained unpinned for more than 2 years. Every time he steps in the ring, he feels like the final boss of WWE. So it’s justified that the WWE Universe doesn’t buy Theory as a legitimate contender right now.

When he tried to cash in on Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, he didn’t feel equal to either of the competitors. As if to enforce that point, Lesnar laid him out pretty easily. So how does this pan out? Can Theory become the new WWE Universal Champion?

When will Theory cash-in his WWE Money in the Bank contract?

It seems that WWE has recognized this problem. Theory recently started showing more fire on RAW. He faced Dolph Ziggler in the main event of WWE RAW this week. Theory beat Ziggler convincingly in a great match. It seems like WWE is slowly building him up now.

While this is a step in the right direction, there’s no way he feels like on the same level as Drew McIntyre or Roman Reigns. So him successfully cashing in on even a beaten down Reigns feels like a stretch.

In addition to it, there are reports that Reigns is going to lose atleast one of his titles to Drew McIntyre. Seeing that the show is happening in the UK, Theory cashing in on McIntyre would suck the life out of the stadium.

Thus, our prediction is that Theory won’t leave WWE Clash at the Castle as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
