3 teams with the best openers in IPL 2024

Having a good opening combination goes a long way in helping teams gain positive momentum in a game. While the skills of the openers form the first criteria, their intent, form, ability to go big and the way they tackle matchups all form a part of deciding which team has the best opening combination in the IPL. 1) Rajasthan Royals (Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler)

Rajasthan Royals looks to have the most complete opening combination in IPL 2024. The team has had a similar combination in the last few seasons, as well. In Jaiswal and Buttler, RR has a duo who can take the game away from the opposition in just six overs.

While Buttler is great against pace and spin, Jaiswal is excellent with his intent and game against spin. The duo also offers a right-left combination which helps the team in tackling various matchups.

2) Royal Challengers Bangalore (Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli)
