With WrestleMania XL fast approaching, the world is busy speculating all the better twist and turns. However, then in the midst of all the glitz and glam and all the preparations that are to set foot in the upcoming generations, one of the shiniest stars in the Wrestling sky fizzled away and that is none other than an icon of the sport, Ole Anderson.

Ole’s contribution to wrestling is still unparalleled as he was one of the founding members of the iconic wrestling stable, the Four Horsemen. The stable comprised bigger names like that of the nature boy, Ric Flair while alongside the others that were a part of this prized faction were none other than Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and JJ Dillon.

Throughout the span of his glistening career, Anderson had countless title runs and ensured that he is carving a legacy like none other in the process where hopes and promises rose through the skies. However, it wasn’t just his in-ring flair that made him a superstar. He was also an excellent booker that witnessed the company flying beyond unthinkable heights while also giving flight to other superstars.

He played the role of a booker for respected promotions of the sport that comprised the likes of Georgia Championship Wrestling, Wrestling an Jim Crockett Promotions. He also shared his valuable insight for the book that was named “Inside Out: How Corporate America Destroyed Professional Wrestling.”

The news of Ole’s unfortunate demise was permeated by Ricky Morton that left the wrestling fraternity shocked and silenced. A man of his calibre, a man of his stature and most importantly a man with such wrestling brain was always revered by the best in the industry. His passing away will create an almost unfillable void in the company. May his soul rest in peace.
