The action will shift towards the next premium live event now. WWE’s next pay-per-view is SummerSlam. The date for WWE SummerSlam 2023 is August 5. It will be the first WWE premium live event to happen in the United States of America after the WrestleMania two-night event.

The venue for WWE SummerSlam is Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. It will be the second WWE SummerSlam event under the creative guidance of Triple H. Last year, Roman Reigns defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar in a Last Man Standing match at this premium live event.

Following WWE SummerSlam, WWE will conduct the Payback show in Pittsburgh. Meanwhile, before SummerSlam, the NXT Great American Bash will happen on Sunday, July 30. It will happen at H-E-B Center at the Cedar Park in Texas.
