Big E Reacts As Kofi Kingston Brings In Odyssey Jones As His Replacement In The New Day

WWE witnessed the rise of a debutant whose debut had been stalled for over a year on Monday Night RAW, Odyssey Jones. The dominant superstar made his presence felt on the August 6 edition of RAW to help New Day members, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, which prompted a reaction from their former third member, Big E.

For weeks, New Day members Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods have been constantly tormented by The Final Testament, led by Karrion Kross. The duo was slated to compete in a tag team match against Kross’ cohorts, Akam and Rezar. Also, the match marked Kofi Kingston’s return to in-ring action after being sidelined with an injury at the hands of Karrion Kross weeks ago on RAW.

Despite a valiant effort by Kingston and Woods, they fell to the numbers game and ultimately lost the match to Akam and Rezar, The AOP. As Karrion Kross and his stablemates continued to beat down Kofi and Xavier, Odyssey Jones, who was drafted to Monday Night RAW last year, made his shocking debut and single-handedly destroyed The Final Testament. Odyssey Jones displayed an excellent feat of strength, planting Akam and Rezar with a slam and taking out Karrion Kross.

How did Big E react to Odyssey Jones’ debut on this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW?

Witnessing him assist The New Day, former member of the faction, Big E took to his X to react to his debut. Big E had massive praise for Odyssey Jones and claimed that he had gained a lot of new fans upon his arrival to RAW in dominant fashion.

“The big man looked phenomenal!!! A star is born! Odyssey made a lot of new fans tonight! #WWERaw,” Big E wrote.

With Odyssey Jones possibly aligning himself with The New Day, it will be interesting to see if he fully replaces Big E as the new third member of the group.
