Best XI of players sold at IPL 2024 Auctions for a combined price of under INR 10 Cr

Steal buys are common in almost every auction. This is how balancing is possible for teams when constructing their squads. While IPL 2024 Auctions saw some heavy bids, it also saw some value-for-money signings. On that note, here, we take a look at the best XI of players sold at IPL 2024 Auctions for a combined price of under INR 10 Cr.

Note: The playing XI contains 4 foreigners as per the IPL rule.

Openers: KS Bharat (WK) (INR 0.5 Cr) and Rachin Ravindra (INR 1.8 Cr)

KS Bharat and Rachin Ravindra will open the batting in this best XI of players sold at IPL 2024 Auctions for a combined price of under INR 10 Cr. KKR needed a keeper who could bat at different positions. They got Bharat, who would be a solid addition for them. CSK pulled off a coup for signing Rachin for a paltry amount. He is a man for the future and hence, the investment was solid.

Middle-Order: Manish Pandey (INR 0.5 Cr) and Tristan Stubbs (INR 0.5 Cr)

This auction was all about pacers and all-rounders. Hence, not many middle-order batters earned a contract in this auction. Nevertheless, for this squad, we have Manish Pandey and Tristan Stubbs, both of whom came at their base price to KKR and DC, respectively.

All-Rounders: Arshin Kulkarni (INR 0.2 Cr), Shreyas Gopal (INR 0.2 Cr), Azmatullah Omarzai (INR 0.5 Cr) and Wanindu Hasaranga (INR 1.5 Cr)

Plenty of all-rounders were under the hammer on Tuesday. A few were sold at their base price. They will add depth and balance to the side. The biggest signings here were Omarzai and Hasaranga, for whom no other team was showing interest.

Bowlers: Chetan Sakariya (INR 0.5 Cr) Kartik Tyagi (INR 0.6 Cr) and Jaydev Unadkat (INR 1.6 Cr)

It will be an Indian attack for this best XI of players sold at IPL 2024 Auctions for a combined price of under INR 10 Cr. While Jaydev Unadkat and Chetan Sakariya would open the bowling, Kartik Tyagi would do the job in the middle-overs and at the death. Especially Tyagi at INR 0.6 Cr was a massive steal for GT.
