India keeper batter Rishabh Pant played another staggering inning in the Test as he played another fiery innings to bail his side out of trouble. India is currently locking horns with Bangladesh in the first Test in Chattogram. The hosts won the toss and decided to bat first. But it hasn’t been a fruitful outing for the so far as they have struggled against the bowling attack.
They lost three wickets in quick succession and were left tottering at 48/3. But after that Rishabh Pant came out with positive intent and smashed 29 in 26 balls, in the first session to make sure that India end the first phase on high and come out with momentum on their side.
After the lunch break, he batted in a similar fashion as he looked in full control and kept scoring boundaries at regular intervals. However, a soft dismissal saw him back in the hut. The southpaw tried to hang back to a delivery from Mehidy Hasan but got a bottom edge that trickled onto the stumps.
