Middle-Order: Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant (WK) and Suryakumar Yadav
There are a lot of talks on India’s middle order going forward. However, all the recent signs hint that it is likely to be a similar middle order that featured in the 2021 T20 World Cup.
Virat Kohli will be backed to do well at No.3 and for a player of his stature, he deserves that backing. Both Pant and SKY have opened the batting in recent days. However, they will likely be a part of the middle order. This means that Dinesh Karthik may not get a chance despite his recent good form.
All-Rounders: Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja
Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja are the all-rounders in the likely strongest playing XI for India at the Asia Cup India Squad 2022. Hardik is in cracking touch and will be one of India’s most important cricketers. He will add terrific balance to the squad.
