Asia Cup 2022 predictions: Afghanistan Vs Bangladesh – Who will win the match?

Afghanistan already played their first game in the competition last Saturday and won that game with utmost ease

After thumping Sri Lanka in their first game of Asia Cup 2022, Afghanistan will face Bangladesh in the second game of group B tonight. If they manage to win again tonight, the Afghans will become the first team to advance to the Super 4 round of the Asia Cup.

Bangladesh has come into the Asia Cup 2022 with a lot of changes in its leadership structure. They are without a head coach and the man who is at the helm in the Bangladesh set-up at the moment is their newly appointed technical director, Sridharan Sriram. Bangladesh also has a new captain in Shakib Al Hasan who, before this tournament, was only the test captain of Bangladesh.

Pitch report for Afghanistan Vs Bangladesh in Asia Cup 2022

This will be the first match of Asia Cup 2022 which will be played at Sharjah Cricket Ground. The pitch in Dubai has clearly been a tad difficult for batting and has particularly helped the team bowling first. Sharjah might not be easy for run-scoring, given how low the bounce was on the Sharjah surface during the T20 World Cup last year.

However, one factor that will be significantly different in Sharjah compared to Dubai is the dimension of the ground. Sharjah is a far smaller ground than Dubai and hence, it’s conducive for six-hitting.

I write a bit on cricket and I am more interested in technical and tactical side of the game, rather than bravado.
