Indian opener Shubman Gill has set the stage on fire in the ongoing third ODI against Sri Lanka. The batter has played a scintillating inning and has smashed his second ton in the 50-over format.
Gill started his innings pretty slow and got off the mark after playing around 10 dot deliveries. But there was no stopping him after that as he oozed his class and displayed an exhibition of sensational stroke play.
He give his side a staggering start and stitched a 95-run partnership with Rohit Sharma, who scored 42 and then went on to smash over 100 hundred stands with Virat Kohli. Gill batted with a strike rate of over 100 and crafted his innings staggeringly well. He dominated the Sri Lankan attack and smashed his 2nd ODI ton in just 89 balls. He was back in the hut for 116 runs in 97 balls. Gill smashed 14 fours and 2 sixes in his innings
