All-time playing XI of Mumbai Indians comprising cricketers who were signed in the trade window

Mumbai Indians are very active when it comes to the trade window. In fact, they have made some key signings during this phase which has helped them win the trophy. In the biggest trade in IPL history, they recently acquired the services of Hardik Pandya from Gujarat Titans. Here, we take a look at the all-time playing XI of Mumbai Indians comprising cricketers who were signed in the trade window.

Openers: Quinton de Kock and Shikhar Dhawan

Quinton de Kock came from RCB a few seasons ago. It was a perfect trade as QDK filled multiple roles on the side. He also did not cost much for the franchise.

It was early on in the tournament that Shikhar Dhawan came to Mumbai Indians. It was from Delhi Daredevils. Ashish Nehra went the other way to Delhi.

Middle-Order: Parthiv Patel, Unmukt Chand, Dinesh Karthik (WK)

MI has hired a lot of wicket-keepers during the trade windows. Parthiv Patel and Dinesh Karthik are also a part of the list. DK’s signing helped MI win the trophy back in 2013.

One of the unsuccessful trades was the hiring of Unmukt Chand. The player has retired from Indian cricket and is now exploring opportunities in the USA.

All-Rounders: Hardik Pandya (C)

Hardik Pandya is the latest addition to this all-time playing XI of Mumbai Indians comprising cricketers who were signed in the trade window. Not much needs to be said about this signing.
