Openers from Injured cricketers – Jonny Bairstow and Rishabh Pant

RCB all-rounder Will Jacks and CSK all-rounder Kyle Jamieson have been ruled out of IPL 2023 owing to injury issues. RCB have roped in Michael Bracewell as a replacement, while Sisanda Magala has joined the CSK team. Tom Curran also suffered a back injury recently and might miss first few matches of T20 Blast in England.

Bowlers – Jasprit Bumrah, Keshav Maharaj and Prasidh Krishna

Jasprit Bumrah and Prasidh Krishna will form the pace attack of this team. Both Indian pacers underwent surgery recently and will be out of action for some time. South African spinner Keshav Maharaj suffered a freak injury while celebrating a wicket in a Test match against West Indies.
